Aurora

Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian Singer and Songwriter. She was born in Stavanger on June 15, 1996 and professionally known as Aurora. Her name can also be stylized in the form of AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves has been released by Decca Records and was well welcomed by blogs about music. The artist has already recorded two high-profile covers Half the World Away by Oasis. Oasis for a Christmas advertisement by John Lewis and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole. Katy Perry's praise for the song Runaway on her blog added to the musician's recognition. Enjoy her day. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory was of discovering an attic piano and becoming enthralled by the sound it could make. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes encouraged her to learn music not to get an income or as a pastime and as a way to grow. She started writing songs of her own. She is credited with Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen and Bjork for being among her inspirations. Her mother had told her the songs she composed might not be famous for her, however, but to encourage people to see the value of themselves and their impact in this world, she started singing them in public. The piano was first played by her when she was only six and started writing songs when she was nine. The family members didn't know about her music until she reached fourteen. It was never a dream to turn into Aurora. The singer claims she is a fan of writing music. For her, music is the only method to experience anything.
