Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress who has been best known in Canada by her character in the film Bo. Silk is born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk have been the fathers of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director. She also plays the role of drama instructor on the drama department at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna's early memories were of going to play rehearsals and watching her mom do her job. Silk was a small model in a commercial. She was in 1997 when she earned a bachelor's degree at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas was active in at least two of the early stage productions, including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk relocated from Toronto to Los Angeles in the years following 1999. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an Actors Workshop in Los Angeles, in 2007. They were engaged in 2009, and were married at a civil wedding ceremony in December of that year. In Fredericton on April 10, 2011, they renewed vows, following Silk's conversion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was born in May 2013, a son called Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron is her second baby boy, who was born on the 13th of May 2016. Silk's work on television includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica and she won an Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009, she got the principal character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl. Silk fell pregnant during the production of the season three finale and announced this to viewers in Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk announced on Twitter June 20th, 2013 that the series was returning for a fourth season of its production. Fourth season premiered on the 4th of June 2013 and was produced by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. Silk's portrayal of Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as lovers with the same gender in the show Lost Girl was named one of the most popular TV Couples by CNN (Cable News Network) and declared Top Television Couple of 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk is one of the most popular shows on the social networks.
